One Sabbath in a Midwest city, a young child was acting up during the morning worship hour.
The parents did their best to maintain some sense of order in the pew, but they were losing the battle. Everyone in the congregation was becoming aware of their son’s misbehavior.
Finally, the father picked up the little fellow. With a stern look on his face, he began carrying the youngster up the aisle on his way out.
Just before reaching the foyer, the little one had the last word, calling out loudly to the congregation, “Pray for me! Pray for me!”
